The shader counterpart to the Oz Liner. Same approach, same hands, same shed — designed and laid out from scratch, geometry that allows a shader to run the way a proper day in, day out shader should. Soft enough for black and grey, gutsy enough to pack colour all day long. Built to be the other half of a working pair. Get the two together and you've got everything you need on the bench. 

Every machine comes standard with the Kanga Screw — a pure silver boxing kangaroo contact screw, cast locally in Melbourne. Developed alongside a mate who shared the same vision: an Aussie staple sitting proud on top of an Aussie machine. You won't find it anywhere else.

The Oz Shader's side plate was drawn up at the same bench as the Oz Liner — laid out by hand, transferred to a drawing, then sent off to be laser cut locally. From that one drawing, every Oz Shader side plate is identical. Same shed, same standard, properly Australian-made. 

From there it's all done by hand. Raw stock cut, machined, TIG welded and finished on the bench — and like the Oz Liner, there's a dedicated set of jigs built just for this frame. Means every Oz Shader off the bench sits within the same tolerances as the last, even though it's been put together one piece at a time.

Fitted with the True Blue Iron vice as standard — my own design, spring-loaded eccentric cam with a 304 stainless cam tooth for a harder-wearing part that'll handle day in, day out shading without complaint. Takes any tube style, no splitting the base. Less vibration, more rigidity, more time at work.

Every machine is made one at a time, in the order it comes in. Standard builds usually take anywhere from 6–8 weeks from receiving your order.
